8353-12ORDINANCE NO. 8353-12 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO DESIGNATE THE LAND USE FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF CHERRY LANE AND MCMULLEN BOOTH ROAD, CONSISTING OF A PORTION OF THE SOUTH '/2 OF THE SOUTHEAST '/4 OF THE NORTHWEST '/4 OF THE NORTHWEST '/4 OF SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 3075 AND 3087 CHERRY LANE, TOGETHER WITH THE ABUTTING RIGHT-OF-WAY OF MCMULLEN BOOTH ROAD, UPON ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS RESIDENTIAL URBAN (RU); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's comprehensive plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City of Clearwater is amended by designating the land use category for the hereinafter described property, upon annexation into the City of Clearwater, as follows: Pro rt The East 269.05 feet of the North 100 feet of the South 110 feet of the South '/Z of the Southeast'/4 of the Northwest'/4 of the Northwest '/4 of Section 16, Township 29 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida, LESS the East 162 feet thereof, together with the abutting right-of-way of McMullen Booth Road. (ANX2012-05004) Land Use Categorv Residential Urban (RU) The map attached as Exhibit "A" is hereby incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Council does hereby certify that this ordinance is consistent with the City's comprehensive plan. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 8352-12.
