The motion was duly seconded and carried unanimously. ITEMS NOT ON THE AGENDA In reference to Case 26-05, it was noted that fines surpass the home's value and continue to accrue. It was stated the unpermitted dock was removed; its foundation remains to prevent the house from slipping into the lake. Concern was expressed that the homeowner cannot remedy the infraction and has financial difficulties. Assistant City Attorney Camilo Soto said the fine cannot be capped until the property complies with Code. The homeowner's association owns the lake and is working on erosion problems. It was recommended that the City provide homeowners a venue to approach it regarding compliance issues affected by changing circumstances. 7.
