The: I'CSO shall operat� t� law eT�i�rceiucnt records system (ACISS) �n a conzputer-
harc�ware systern and providc � point of netwark conncctivity for the CPD. The PG�O is
res�onsible for »r►aint�inin� the recorcis mina�emcnt coinputer system, includin� all required
snftwarc licensc;s, up�rades, updaics �t1cl systern administration. '1'he i'CSO is also respansiblc
L-or inaintai�ling tl�e records �nan<►�em�nt sot�ware (AC[SS), including all necessary software
licens�s, up�;i°fldcs, updatcs �nd syst��n admiilistration.

int� thE records maila�em���t sysC�m t►�zd thcr�;fare st1a11 also ba responsibl� for any costs
associated with the restoratio�l of said data inte�rity by the records manag�ment soiiwar� v�ndar,

lhe opportunity to entei• re��orts which r��ill ultimately becoine part of the ACISS database, each

casts, if any.
'I'lle CPD and tli� PCSO shall evenly share tlie expense far the leased net�vork
conriectivity be:tween the records management server and the Cl'D. The CPU will ��rovide a

Q�th CPD and thc PCSO l�ave independcntly purchased the rights to a cornputer-aicicd
disp�ttch �lpplication, "I'ri"I'�:ch Soi�warc Systems. Lach agency incicpei�de�ltly l�urchased the
Systcins hardware and softwarc and cacl� �gency is responsible for maintenance, up�rr'ades ai�d
upcl�.tes of the res�ective systexns. CPD and PCSO shall share all camputer-aidcd dis�atcl7
infprmation re<il time, with minimui�i delay, so the beneiits t�f a shared system vvill be rnaxiinized
and oFt`icer saf�ty enhanccd. .
Tl�e �'CSO may off�r to Cl'D acc;ess to soflware applications that have becn developc:d by
C]-�e �heriii"s Offic� Coinputcr �crvice:s st�►ff. 1'CSO will ��rovid� all saftware relatin�; ta th�
ticket-writer pro�•a�n and tl�u b�s-avl (autamatic vehicle lacatox-) pro�rarn. Othc;r iiz-hausc:
programs rnay be shared as th� softwarE is developed. Modifications and enhanc:eix�ents to the
soitware will bc entertained on a casc-by-case basis dependent �n the statcment of work and the
availability a#` staff to acc�mplish the desired outcomes. Modifications to PCS�-developed
soi�ware that are required due to unique GFD technical environments are the responsibility of
GPD.
Each party will r.o�itinue to be the custodian of Che data, inforinatiox� and rep�rts �ntered
and develape:d by each. As a result, any public records request recc:ived for Cl'D records will l�e
thc respo�7sibility of CI'D and be re%rred to CPD for response sl�ould the PCSO receivc the
re�uest. Likcwise, a�iy puUlic records request for PCSO records will be the responsibility of the
PCSO and shoul�l be re%ned t� thc �'CSO should CPD receive the rcquest.
ARTICLC CV. TERMINATION
l;ither party may termin�te this A�z•rement thirty (3�) days ai�er receipt by the other pa�-ty
of written ��otice of intent ta tercninate. Slaauld either party decide to terminate the Agreement,
all records and data �enerated by and beloi�gin� to each pai-ty shall be returned to the party to
whom the dat� belangs. The p�rties a�;ree ta work to�ether coaperatively to ensure a return oi
datt� in as timely a rnanner as possible.
AI�TTCLE V. OTl-1�R CONDI'TIONS
Any Alterations, variations, rnodifications, or waivers of provisions of this Agreemei�t
shal] only be valid when they have becn rcduced in writing, duly 5igned, and attached to ihe
original of this A�,neeine��t. The parties agree to reilegotiate this Agreement ifrevisians of any
applicable laws or regulations inake chan�es in this Agreement necessary.
