WHEREAS, the owner of the real property described herein and depicted on the
map attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the
praperty into the City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has
complied with all applicable requirements of Florida law in connectian with this ordinance;
now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Sectian 1. The following-described property is hereby annexed into the City af
Clearwater and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly:
A parcel of land being a porkion af the East 460.00 feet of the Northwest'/4 of the
Southwest'/4 af Section 33, Township 28 South, Range 16 East, lying North of
those lands platted as THE CREST, as recorded in Plat Book 95, Pages 72 and
73, lying East of thase lands platted as RENAISSANCE OAKS, as recorded in Plat
Boak 133, Pages 3 through 7, and less and except thase lands conveyed to
Pinellas County in Order of Taking recorded in Official Records Book 7917, page
1801, all being of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Flarida and further
described as follows:
C�MMENCE at the West'/4 carner of Section 33, Township 28 South, Range 16
East, Pinellas County, Florida; thence S.00°24'41 "E., alang the West line of the
Northwest'/d of the Southwest'/4 of said Sectian 33 (being the basis of bearings
for this description), and along the West baundary line of RENAISSANCE OAKS,
as recorded in Plat Boak 133, Pages 3 through 7, of the Public Records of Pinellas
County, Florida, respectively, for 994.36 feet to the Southwest corner ofi said
RENAISSANCE OAKS, same being the Narthwest corner of THE CREST, as
recorded in Plat Baak 95, Pages 72 and 73 of the Public Records of Pinellas
County Flarida; thence leaving said West line of the Northwest'/ of the

Southwest'/4 of Section 33, N.89°49'22"E., alang the South baundary line of said
RENAISSANCE OAKS, same being the North boundary line of said THE CREST,
for 875.12 feet for the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence leaving said North
boundary line of THE CREST, N.00°18'02"W., alang the East boundary lin� of said
RENAISSANCE OAKS, for 295.49 feet; thence leaving said East boundary line of
RENAISSANCE �AKS, N.89°44'55"E., for 205.08 feet; thence S.O�°15'05"E., for
124.47 feet; thence N.$9°44'S5"E., for 155.00 feet to the Westerly Right of Way
line af McMullen Booth Road (by Order of Taking recarded in Official Recards
Book 7917, Page 1801 of the Public Recards of Pinellas County, Florida); thence
S.O�°18'02"E., along said Westerly Right of Way line of McMullen Booth Road, for
171.48 feet to the aforementioned North boundary line af THE CREST; thence
S.89°49'22"W., along said Narth boundary line of THE CREST, for 359.97 feet to
the P�INT OF BEGINNING.
Containing 87,164 square feet or 2.0010 acres, more or less.

The map or maps attached as Exhibit A is hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The pravisions of this ordinance are faund and determined to be
consistent with the City af Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Council hereby
accepts the dedication of all easements, parks, rights-of-way and other dedications to the
public, which have heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed
property. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director are directed to
include and show th� property described herein upon the official maps and records of the
City.
Sectian 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoptian. The City
Clerk shall file certified copies of this ardinance, including the map attached hereto, with
the Clerk of the Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County,
Florida, within 7 days after adoption, and shall file a certified capy with the Florida
Department of State within 3D days after adoption.
