('^) During the negotiations which led to the contract, it was agreed that the Clearwater Police Department would provide your agency with the temporary use of one of our crime scene vans, a 1986 Chevrolet G30 van, Vehicle Identification Number 1GCG35M7G7163995, for the term of the contract and until termination of the final renewal period. It was also agreed that all equipment affixed to the van would remain with the vehicle for your use. Please find a complete inventory attached. It is understood that the Pinellas County Sheriffs Office will be responsible to maintain the vehicle and associated equipment in good working condition. It is also understood that the Pinellas County Sheriffs Office will repaint the vehicle with the colors and markings of your agency and will add whatever equipment is necessary to make the vehicle fully servicable for your agency's use. It is understood that at the termination of the contract or the final renewal period, the above described vehicle, along with all items listed in the attached inventory, will be returned to the Clearwater Police Department. If the terms of this Agreement meet with your approval, please sign below and return this letter to my office. I look forward to the benefits our agency's;and the citizens we serve, will derive from this and future efforts we make together in accomplishing our mission.
