In March 1995, Peoples Gas System, Inc. and the Clearwater Gas System of the J) -, ~
City of Clearwater entered into a Territorial Agreement regarding service in Pasco County, ~J/ -
Florida. In Section 5.1 of the agreement, the parties agreed to meet prior to the second .. 2.1.//1
anniversary of the Territorial Agreement to review the status of the agreement. We
further agreed that, following that meeting, we would submit a joint status report to the
Commission. The Commission approved the Agreement in its Order PSC-95-0620-AS-
GU, dated May 22, 1995. This letter is the joint status report.
Personnel of the two gas utilities met April 11 , 1997 to review the functioning of the
agreement and to discuss ongoing interactions between the two utilities. Both utilities
agree that the terms of the agreement are being adhered to and that customers in the
Pasco County territory described in the agreement are being appropriately served. No
conflicts or service problems have been identified in that territory .

by both of us, but the idea of a one paragraph, free-standing report seemed a bit much.
