FOR THE
DEVELOPMENf AND IMPLEMENfATION OF A
COMPREHENSIVE WATERSHED MANAGEMENf PLAN FOR
THE ALLIGATOR CREEK WATERSHED
THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this ~g, ~ day of

referred to as the CONSULTANT, is herein amended as follows:

WHEREAS, the CITY, the City of Safety Harbor, Pinellas County, and the Southwest
Florida Water Management District have entered into an Agreement for the development and
implementation of a Watershed Management Plan hereinafter referred to as the
MANAGEMENT PLAN to the extent of jointly funding an engineering study of the
WATERSHED; and
WHEREAS, the CITY engaged the CONSULTANT to provide professional engineering and
environmental services in accordance with the Agreement dated August 7, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the CONSULT ANT has performed the services accordance with the Agreement;
WHEREAS, Section 7.4 of the agreement provided that an amendment to the agreement and
authorized by the CITY, the CONSULT ANT shall provide such additional services,
NOW THEREFORE, the CITY agrees to compensate the CONSULTANT for additional
services in the amount of $282,340, as outlined in Exhibit A attachment to this amendment,
for the preparation of design and construction plans, permit applications, and specifications for
the following projects:
. Friendly Village of Kapok Floodplain and Wetland Restoration - preliminary design for
project promotion and development,
. Cliff Steven's Park - development of construction plans and permitting for the removal of
accumulated sediment and development of littoral planting zones,
. Moccasin Lake Park and Channel B Improvements - development of construction plans to
restore flow through the Park and Channel B stabilization and permitting, and
. Storm Sampling and Water Quality Model Calibration.
Except as modified by the AMENDMENT No.1, all provisions and conditions of the original
Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have accepted, made and executed this
Agreement upon the terms and conditions above stated on the day and year first written.
