8241-11ORDINANCE NO. 8241-11 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO DESIGNATE THE LAND USE FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF LANDMARK DRIVE APPROXIMATELY 650 FEET SOUTH OF MARLO BOULEVARD, DIRECTLY SOUTH OF CHAUTAUQUA PARK EAST, CONSISTING OF A PORTION OF SECTION 32, TOWNSHIP 28 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 2270 LANDMARK DRIVE, TOGETHER WITH ABUTTING RIGHT-OF-WAY ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SUBJECT PARCEL AND THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF LANDMARK DRIVE, UPON ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS RECREATION/OPEN SPACE (R/OS); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's comprehensive plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City of Clearwater is amended by designating the land use category for the hereinafter described property, upon annexation into the City of Clearwater, as follows: Propert y Land Use Category The east 965.08 feet of the North Recreation/Open Space (R/OS) Y2 of the Southeast % of Section 32, Township 28 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida less the South 33 feet thereof; also less the East 33 feet thereof; also less the North 33 feet thereof, all as conveyed to Pinellas County for public road by Quit Claim Deed recorded March 21, 1960 in O.R. Book 857, Page 544, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida; together with abutting right-of-way on the north side of subject parcel and the right- of way of Landmark Drive. (ANX2010- 05002 Corrective) The map or maps attached as Exhibit(s) are hereby incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Council does hereby certify that this ordinance is consistent with the City's comprehensive plan. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 8240 -11.
