There has never has been a West half of Lot Eleven (11) according to our records. The City of Clearwater must assume the deed conveyed ownership of half of Lot 11 to T.C. Daniel and M.E. Daniel, his wife. Half of an eight space lot is four spaces. Theodore C. Daniel is buried in Space 8. We assume he was the "T.C. Daniel" on the deed. Elizabeth Hart Daniel is buried in Space 7. Although the name is different, most likely due to the formal use of family names at that time, a companion marker on the two northern-most spaces indicates she is the wife of Theodore C. Daniel. The relationship of Catherine T. Daniel who is buried in Space 6 to Theodore and Elizabeth Daniel is unknown to us. The Funeral Director who provided service to the Daniel family is no longer doing business in this area and I am unable to locate any files that may have been turned over to a Funeral Director in business at this time. Space 5, the only remaining space in the North half of Lot 11 is unused. It is not prudent for the City to assume the deed to the Daniel family which you possess means the entire lot. We have no way of knowing if any other deeds covering this property were issued. Proof of a family relationship to the owners of the lot or some other legal instrument granting rights to real property from the property owners, T.C. and M. B.
