Dear Mrs. Harris;
Reference is made to our conversation when you came into our office this week and
indicated you wanted to transfer your cemetery property described as Block 7, Lot 128, Spaces 1,
2, 3 and 4, to Barbara Harris Smith and Sally Sloan.
Ownership for each space can be transferred by drawing a deed for each space to the new
owners for an administrative fee of $39.00 per space; or, by transferring interment rights to
whomever you chose at no cost. You indicated the latter. If new deeds are not drawn the
property remains in your name. Barbara Harris Smith and Sally Sloan would not be able to sell
or transfer the cemetery property to other individuals.
You mentioned a member of your family was an attorney. You may wish to have him or
her advise you on this matter. We will comply with your wishes.
We will need copies of your marriage certificate, your husband's death certificate and
your husband's will to complete either transaction.
Enclosed is an affidavit for the granting of interment rights and copies of Cemetery Deed and
Consent to Conveyance for each space.

Harris, deceased, and the present owner of cemetery property described as Block 7, Lot
128, Spaces 1, 2, 3 & 4.
Please take this letter as your authority to transfer interment rights to Barbara
Harris Smith and/or Sally Sloan.
I, further agree to release, indemnify and hold the City of Clearwater harmless
from liability in the event of any claim arising from the use of the above described
property for the interments made at the request of Barbara Harris Smith and/or Sally
Sloan.
