for use of CLIGARTi'iAT'ER HIGH SCHOOL

under the following terms and conditions:
AUDITORIUM
( School faci lity)
I. The lessee agrees to pay to the lessor at the time of the acceptance of this
contract a deposit of fifteen dollars ($15.00) for each day reserved. The'
deposit will be forfeited if for any reason that date is cancelled or changed.
The sum of $ --- is due and payable upon the acceptance of this contract,
The total deposit paid wi II be deducted from the total charge unless a portion
of such deposit has been forfeited. All charges made for the use of school
facilities shall be paid in advance of the date that such facility is to be used.
(See instructions for exceptions. )
Any lessee required to furnish a certificate of insurance (see Items 3 qnd 4) is
'also required to pay a minimum rental fee of one daollar. ($1. 00).
2. The lessee agrees that:
a.AII Fire ())partrnent regulations must be strictly observed.
b. Smoking may be permitted in the halls with the principal's permission.
There will -be no smoking in rooms, auditoriums, g mnasiums, etc.
c. Concessions wi e operated on y for t e enefit of t e sc 00 and with
the permission of the school principal.
d. The presence of at least one custodian is required when school facilities
are occupied by _any group.
e. All schoolfaciltties and equipment used must be returned in as good
condition as when rented. Cost of repairs must be borne by the lessee.
f. Space will not be available if use interferes in any way with the school
program.

3. The lessee agrees to indemnifl' and save and hold harmless jhc lessor and to accept
all lia~!/ity arising out of, or resultinCl horn, any occident, illness, sickness, or
other injuries including (ko!h ot on)' tlmt~ ,..ccurrin~j to persons (other thon c,nfdoyees
of the lessor, while acting inl11cir capaci1ic~ as employees) on school premise', ond/or
property damage to schooj premises (bui Iding, content, equipment) and to property of
others during time of rental or rehearsals. The le:;see agrees furihcr not to incur any
debts which may be required or requested to be borne by lessor.
4. The lessee shall furnish to the lessor a Certificate of Insurance fOlm as evidence that
the minimum amount of insurance requi red by this coniract is in focI carried,
Limits of liability for this lease shall be as indicated on th/~ Certificate
of Insurance attached for bodily injury and property damages.
The Certificate of I nsurance wi II be forwarded to the Risk Mana~wment DepclIl-rnent of the
School Board of Pinellas Count>', Florida, prior to occupancy and use of such focil ity.
A duplicate copy of such Certifica te will be attached to, and made a part of, this
contract.
5. Special Provisions (date and time of use, etc.) Rehearsals - July 27, 28, 29,
30, 31, 1975; Musical - August 1 & 2, 1975 - Auditorium - 7 to IlPM
a. This agreement is subject to termination by the lessor or lessee upon ten days
notice to the respective party.
b. No improvements shai I be made on the lease property except by modification
of this contract in written form and signed by the parties hereto.
c. Under no circumstances shall the period of this contract extend for more than
one year.
d. Unforeseen questions shall be decided by lessee and the principal of the faci I ity
being leased.
6. The following Rate Schedule is agreed by the parties hereto to be valid, reasonable and
binding on said parties. The lessor reserves the right to adjust the contract chmges in
accordance with the Rate Schedule if the facility usage differs frorTIthe contract terms.

RATE SCHEDULE
The following schedule is to be used to determint:: chmges for the use of school facilities:
I. Number of seats in room to be used is multiplied by:

5. For rehearsals: 1/10 of seat charge plus lighting cost plus
equipment charge.
For afternoon use: 1/2 of seat charge plus lighting cost plus
equipment cra rge plus custodial and other services if building
is not air conditioned. If the building is air conditioned, FULL
rates appl y.
