L. Howell, who being first duly sworn, deposes atid says that, acting under and by virtue of authority of, and orders from, the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida, on the 18th day of July A.D., 1944, he posted at the Court Rouse in the City of Clearwater, County of Pinel1as and State of Florida, and at each end of the proposed road, that public place nearest the road sought to be established, a copy of the notice hereto attached. Howell (SEAL) Sworn and Subscribed to before me this 5th day of Sept. 1944 Claire Kil~ore Notary Public, State of Florida at Large My Commission Expires February 8, 1946 NOTICE NOTICE is hereby given that a petition has been duly filed with the County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida, praying for the establishment of the public road hereinafter described; that three disinterested free-holders have been appointed to view and mark out the best route for said road; that said viewers have viewed and marked out said road and fi led their report of the same in the office of the County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida, which report has been accepted and approved; that unless good cause can be shown why said pro- posed road should not be opened up as a public road, within thirty days from the posting of this notice, an order will be made by the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida, that said new road be opened up as described in said report, and declared a public road, to wit: Beginning at the intersection of Sunset Point Boulevard and Douglas Ave. being the center of Sec. 3-T-29S-Rl5E and run thence Soo05'49"E along Douglas Ave., being the North and South center line of said Sec. 3, a distance of 1701.61 ft. thence S53026'59"E a distance of 1644.68 ft. to intersection with the South line of said sec. 3 at a point 13.41 ft. west of the SE corner of the SW quarter of the SE quarter of the said Sec. 3 thence continues S53026'59"E 16.39 ft. to intersection with the center line of Betty Lane thence South along the center line of Betty Lane as now established to intersection with Drew Street, State Road 17. Orville Harris Chairman Board of County Commissioners Proof of posting of the attached Notice at the Courthouse door and in the vicinity of the road ordered by the Board at their meeting on July 18th, 1944, and thirty days having elapsed since such posting and no good cause having been shown why the same should not be opened up and made a public highway, the following resolution was offered by Commissioner E. H. Beckett, seconded by Commissioner W. H. Belcher, and carried by unanimous affirmative vote: BE IT RESOLVED that the former actions of this Board in reference to the a~ove described road be and the same are hereby ratified and confirmed and the County Engineer is instructed to proceed forthwith to open said Road, and the same is hereby declared from this date to be a public highway subject to the laws governing same.
