Clearwater - Reclassification and Maintenance of
Certain Streets within Municipal Limits
Dear Mr. Shoemaker:
Enclosed herewith is a fully executed Agreement, approved by
the Board of County Commissioners during regular meeting held
on February 9, 1982 to redefine maintenance responsibilities
for streets as outlined in paragraphs 2 and 3 of sheet number
2 of this Agreement.
The terms of this Agreement are effective as of the date of
acceptance by the Board of County Commissioners, in conformance
with Paragraph No. 5 on page no. 2 of the Agreement.

WHEREAS, in accordance with Chapter 17-165 of the Laws of
Florida, the Department of Trans'portation has established a statewide
functional classification of ,all public roads; and
WHEREAS, Florida Statute 334.03 (Z3) states in part, that the County
Road System shall consist of all collector roads iD the unincorporated areas
and all extensions of such collector roads into and through any iDcorporated

area; and
WHEREAS. the Florida Legislature has stipulated that maintenance
responsibilities wi+l. be assigned based upon functional classification of roads
to be eHective no later than July 1. 1982; and,

mil-e); and Myrtle Avenue (SR 595B) from Lakeview Road to
