RELEASE
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that PINELLAS COUNTY,
a political subdivision of the State of Florida, for and in consideration
of the sum of $270,497,10, lawful money of the United States of America, to
it in hand paid by the CITY OF CLEARWATER, a municipality organized under
the laws of the State of Florida, has remised, released and forever discharged,
and by these presents does for itself, its assignees or successors in interest
remise, release, acquit, satisfy and forever discharge the said City of
Clearwater, its agents, servants and employees for all actions, causes of
action, suits, debts, damages, judgments, executions, claims and demands
whatsoever, in law or in equity, which the said Pinellas County now has, or
may in the future have, against the said City of Clearwater on account of the
acquisition of the following described parcels of land, except as to Parcel
No, 100,1, wherein this Release is limited as specified hereinbelow:

nnder that certain Agreement dated November 25, 1969, providing for the
reimbursement by the City of Clearwater to Pinellas Connty for the total
approved appraised value or court awarded value of all right of way within

This Release in no wise releases the City of Clearwater from its
obligation under said Agreement for Parcels llO. 1 and 104. IR listed in the
attached summary of Right-of-Way (Final Bill) dated April 10, 1975, as the
property owners have filed a motion for a new trial relative to the values of
these properties.
As to Parcel No. 100. 1 this Release is limited to the value of the real
property acquired together with legal interest thereon as follows:

This Release constitutes acknowledgment of payment in full under said
Agreement of the total approved appraised value or court-awarded value of all
right-of-way within the City Limits of the parcels listed in the above schedule,
except as to Parcel 100. 1 wherein this Release is limited as specified.
That the payment of $270,497.10 by the City of Clearwater to Pinellas
County and the acceptance of this Release by the City of Clearwater shall in
no way be construed or interpreted as an admission by the City of Clearwater
of any liability or obligation for the payment of any additional sums of money
to Pinellas County in connection with said Parcel No. 100. 1. Furthermore,
Pinellas County does not intend, by this Release, to release any subsequent
claim which it may have against the City of Clearwater for payment of Court-
awarded severance damages and/ or interest in connection with said Parcel
No. 100. 1.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Pinellas County has caused these presents
to be signed in its name by its Chairman, and its corporate seal to be affixed
