Re: Utilities Billing for City Sewer Service
Please be advised that on March 16, 1978, the City Commission
of the City of Clearwater instructed me to notify the Pinel1as
County Board of County Commissioners that. in accordance
with paragraph 10, page 2 of an agreement with the County,
dated February 23. 1971. that the City desires to terminate
this agreement.
As 1 stated in my letter to you of February 27. 1978, the County,
under this agreement. bills customers for City sewer service
for those customers on the County water system. For reasons
of better customer control and improved cash flow. our auditors
have recommended that the City does its own billing. Our
Utilities Department has the q,pabillty of performing this billing.
Your cooperation in this matter will be appreciated.
