On July 11, 1985 you approved and the City Clerk certified the
final site plan for the Morton Plant Parking Garage subject to
six conditions. Condition No. 6 gave the developer six months to
procure the initial building permit with all certificate(s) of
occupancy to be procured within two (2) years from the date of
the initial building permit.
The developer is now requesting revalidation of the plan and an
extension of the permitted time to procure a building permit to
July 11, 1986.
If you concur with ou.r recommendation for approval of this
request, please sign this memo for transmittal to the City Clerk
and distribution to the appropriate parties for attachment to
their certified plans. Approval of this memo is for the purposes
of a time extension only and in no way negates any of the
original conditions.

On March 28, 1985, the Resource Development Committee recommended
ap>roval of the final site plan for Morton Plant Parking Garage
subject to several conditions. It is the RDC recommendation to
you that the attached final site plan for Morton Plant Parking
Garage be approved subject to the following conditions:
1. The improvement shown for the widening of Pinellas
Street will be the responsibility of the developer;
2. Special steps be taken to protect the ravine area during
construction;
3. Driveway entrances be designed as required by the
Traffic Engineer;
4. The final location of the sidewalk be approved by the
Public Works Department;
5. Sidewalk easements be provided with a maintenance
agreement to be worked out between the City Attorney and
the attorney for the hospital with the approval of the
Assistant City Manager for Operations; and
6. The requisite initial building permit(s) be procured
within six (6) months from the date of City Manager's
approval of the final site plan and all requisite
certificate(s) of occupancy be procured within two (2)
years from the date of issuance of the i itial building
permit. -
