SUBJECT: Building Permit for Recycling Building 1701 Hercules Avenue COPIES: Louis R. Hilton, Associate Planner Terry Jennings, Chief Engineer DATE: April 15, 1994 The City Commission approved Change Order #1 to the Solid Waste Complex (Contract 93-24) on February 28, 1994 authorizing the construction of a Recycling Building. The certified site plan dated 9/23/93 shows the footprint of this recycling building as "Future Recycle Building, Phase 2." Site calculations reflected the recycle building. The City is acquiring an adjacent and contiguous two (2) acre parcel of land which will be added to the Solid Waste Complex. The 'closing' on this property will take place in early May. Because of this land acquisition, the certified site plan will need to be amended again. At that time we will delete the "future" notation for the recycle building. I respectfully request your department now issue the building permit for the recycling building.
