ADDENDUM TO CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTYADDENDUM TO THAT CERTAIN CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY by the Community Redevelopment Agency of City of Clearwater, Florida (CRA) dated September 27, 2010 (herein "contract') between the CRA (herein "Buyer"), and the Society of St. Vincent DePaul Council of Upper Pinellas County, Inc., a Florida not for profit corporation (herein "Seller") (collectively "Parties"), regarding real property legally described as follows: All of Block 5 North of Park Street of MRS SARAH MCMULLEN'S SUBDIVISION, according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 41, Pinellas County Records, LESS the East Fifty Feet (E 5.0') thereof and subject to right-of-way of the public thoroughfare across the Northerly portion thereof known as Cleveland Street; also subject to the right-of-way of the public thoroughfare across the Southerly portion thereof known as Park Street, situate, lying and being in Pinellas County, State of Florida. AND Lots 9 and 10, Block 2, MAGNOLIA PARK, according to the. map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 43, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida. WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, Article 9. CLOSING PLACE AND DATE provided that the parties close the contemplated transaction on or before Sixty (60) days following the Effective Date of said contract; and, that if either party is unable to comply with any provision of the contract within the time allowed, and be prepared to close as set forth therein, after making all reasonable and diligent efforts to comply, then upon giving written notice to the other party, time of closing may be extended up to 60 days without effect. upon any other term, covenant or condition contained in the contract; and, WHEREAS, Article 14. PROPERTY CONDITION provided the Buyer with a Forty Five (45) day "Inspection Period" following the Effective Date of said contract; NOW, THEREFORE, the parties mutually covenant and agree each with the other as follows: a. That closing of the contemplated transaction shall be extended to on or before One Hundred Eighty (180) days following the Effective Date of said contract; and the provision permitting an additional 60 day extension if either party is unable to comply with any provision within the time allowed is hereby deleted. That the Inspection Period is hereby extended to One Hundred Twenty (120) days following the Effective Date of said contract.
