~ow AGREEMENT
THISAGRlEMENT, made this the 24th day of July, 1956, by
and between the CITY OF CLEARlATIa, a municipal corporation here-
inafter called "CITY. aDd GRIBRIQODAPARTMENT COMPANY, a Florida

, sidewalks and alleys
WHEREAS, Greenwood owns certain streets/in the Greenwood
Housing project located in the City of Clearwater, adjacent to
which is West Avenue, and
WHEREAS, City and, Greenwooel have agreed as to the improvement

of said sidewalks, streets and alleys as to the dedication of ease-
ments thereto and the acceptance of City of said sidewalks, streets
and alleys for maintenance;
lOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and
agreements hereinafter set out and of the faithful performance by

the respective partie8~ it is agreed a8 follows:
1. That the sidewalks, streets and alleys as set oat and des-
cribed in the specifications for pavement in Greenwood Housing pro-
ject prepared by the City Engineer'. office shall be improved as
specified therein ud that UPOD payment by Greenwood as hereisafter
provided, the City shall accept the low bid tor said project, being
the bid of Harris PavingCompany of St. Petersburg, Florida, in the
amount of $19~558.50, said bid being subject to adjustment as con-
taiBed in the specifications.
2. That concurrently with the execution of this agreement
by all parties, Greenwoo4 has deposited with City in eaerew, check
of Stockton~ lfhatley, Davin aad Co.pany in the SUi of $lS,Q33.50
to the order of Greenwood ApartmentCompany and Harris Paving 'om-
pany. properly endorsed to t~e order of the City of Clearwater,
said amount to be applied by City toward paJlllBllt of said contract
with Harris PavingCompany in accordance with said contract and
upon certification and order of the City Engineer of the Qity of
Clearwater.

3. That City agrees to pay toward the cost of said improve-
ments the sum of $1,525.00, being its agreed contribution toward
the cost of said project.
4. That concur.eently herewith Greenwood has executed and
sid.walks,
delivered to City in .scrow, easements dedicatin@tstreets and
alleys in said project as shown on the plat attached hereto and
by reference made a part hereof.
5. That upon the completion of said project and compliance
by Greenwood with itsobligatioDs hereunder, the City agrees to
sidewalks
accept for maintenance all of said/streets and alleys so dedicated.
6. That upon the completion of said project, any amounts
which have been advanced by Greemrood and have not been expended
under the contract fer its proportionate share of the cost thereof,
shall be refunded by City to Greenwood.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties. hereto for themselves, their
successors, administrators, and a..1gns have set the1r;hands and
