FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEGAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT, made this ~.3.v9-- day of 199~
and between the CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA (the "Cit ) and the law firm of
MILLER, BALIS & O'NEIL, P.C., WASHINGTON, D.C., ("Counsel"), amends the Legal
Services Agreement dated July 26, 1996 ("Agreement")
WHEREAS, the City and Counsel entered into an Agreement for legal services for a term
of one (1) year which expires on July 26, 1997;
WHEREAS, the City and Counsel agrees to extend the term as follows:
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises made below, the parties
agree as follows:
1. Section 9, Term, shall be amended to extend the term of the Agreement to
September 30, 1997.
2. Section 3 is amended to reflect professional fees effective January 1, 1997, of$200
per hour for William T. Miller and $115 per hour for George D. Cannon.
3. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have duly executed this First Amendment
