Don McCarty of my staff has worked with the applicant to locate the sign in an appropriate place on the structure. The sign is compatible with code requirements and with staff design review. The Design Review Board was asked to comment on the sign's design and location last week, with no specific objections or other suggestions noted. AVM/avm SPFB527.AVM Ks 41 1 DR1451204.AVH Development Review Committee Summary Notes Monday, December 4, 1995 DRC Conference Room, 10 South Missouri Avenue, Clearwater, FL One item was discussed at a special meeting of the DRC requested by the City Engineer: Pier 60 Park (PSP 95-27) Results of the discussion were: The DRC approved the site plan subject to the following discussion/ conditions: A. Before the Site Plan can be certified, the applicant must complete the following action(s): 1.Show the following on the site plan: a. Legal description of the property. b. Gross and net site area expressed in square feet and acres. c. Floor area devoted to each category of use. d. The floor area ratio. e. The property owner's name, address and telephone number; and the designated project applicant or representative and authorization for such representation if other than the property owner. f. Perimeter landscape buffers. g. Parking formula calculation for each use. h. Locations of all driveways, parking areas and curb cuts. i. Existing alleys and the extent to which each must be vacated. j. Location and screening of all refuse containers. k. Direction and coverage of luminaries and other side-lighting. 1. All protected trees by size, species and location. m. Total paved vehicular. use area and total interior landscape areas expressed in square feet and as a percentage of the overall site in the site plan data block. r. Proposed utilities, stormwater retention and 50' perimeter contour elevations. 2. Identify and distinguish between the new and existing buildings and driveways as well as other. features on the plan. 1 3. Identify changes to the site data table resulting from the expansion. 4. Show all contiguous streets & roads. 5. Show the front yard open space also as a percentage on the plan. 5. Show minimum turning radii for designated drives and fire lanes as 42 feet on the plan. 7. Re-locate the existing fire hydrant assembly on the plan to a location not more than 300 feet from the structure in the vicinity of the dumpster with steamer connection South. 8. Show on the site plan the installation and maintenance of uniform traffic control devices at appropriate locations in accordance with the standards set forth by the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices as adopted by the Florida Department of Transportation under Rule 14-115.010, Florida Administrative Code. 9. Show all striping, pavement markings, signage and traffic control devices on the site plan conforming to F.D.O.T. Standard Indices-1995 edition and F.A.C. 14- 110 (no 4" striping is to be shown). 1O.Denote dimensions/measurements for aisles, parking stalls, entrances and like features for the parking/ vehicle maneuvering areas. 11.Show dimensions of aisles, parking stalls, entrances and measurements for like plan features on the plan. 12.Depict all required parking lot interior areas on the plan by shading or cross-hatching. 13.Show all pavement markings, signage and traffic control devices on the site plan. 14.Indicate the location of lighting fixtures in the parking areas on the site plan. 15.Show all on-site lighting with 90-degree cutoffs directed away from abutting streets right-of-way and residential properties. 16.Reflect the use of raised curbs or protective timbers on the site plan where interior landscaped areas abut pavement. 17.Show the concession building on the site plan as EITHER flood- proofed OR as elevated above the base flood elevation. 18.Display the site address on the site plan, obtaining assistance as needed from the responsible Zoning Customer Service representative in establishing the correct address. 19.Display the top elevation of the berm on the north side of the site to 8.5 feet(vs. 9.5 as now displayed) with the adjacent sidewalk level and pitched for drainage.
