A STORMWATER NARRATIVE MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH ALL APPLICATIONS. All applications that invol
addition or modification of impervious surface, including buildings, must include a stormwater plan that demonstrates compliance with 1
City of Clearwater Storm Drainage Design Criteria manual. A reduction in impervious surface area does not qualify as an exemption
this requirement.
If a plan is not required, the narrative shall provide an explanation as to why the site is exempt.

consists of two 8" columns and a strip of concrete measuring 20' x 4" and an extended
roof will not have an impact on storm water drainage.

This letter constitutes a Development Order pursuant to Section 4-202.E of the Community
Development Code. On November 3, 2005, the Development Review Committee (DRC) reviewed
your application for Flexible Standard Development approval for reduction to the front (west) setback
from 25 feet to 24.2 feet, in association with a single-family residence, under the provisions of Section
2-103.A. The DRC recommended approval of the application with the following bases:
Bases for Approval:
1. The proposal complies with the Flexible Standard Development criteria as a Detached Dwelling per
Section 2-203.A.
2. The proposal is in compliance with other standards in the Code, including the General Applicability
Criteria per Section 3-913.
3. The development is compatible with the surrounding area.
I concur with the findings of the Development Review Committee and, through this letter, approve
your application for Flexible Standard Development. The approval is based on and must adhere to the
site plan and application dated received September 16, 2005.
Pursuant to Section 4-303, an application for a building permit shall be made within one year of
Flexible Standard Development approval (November 14, 2006). All required certificates of occupancy
shall be obtained within one year of the date of issuance of the building permit. Time frames do not
change with successive owners.
The issuance of this Development Order does not relieve you of the necessity to obtain any building
permits or pay any impact fees that may be required. In order to facilitate the issuance of any permit or
license affected by this approval, please bring a copy of this letter with you when applying for any
permits or licenses that require this prior development approval.
