AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
THIS AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT made and entered into by
and between the CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, a municipal corporation,
hereinafter referred to as "City", and L. & M. BUILDERS, INC., hereinafter
referred to as "Owner";
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the City and Owner entered into an Agreement dated
January 16, 1981, agreeing to annex into the City of Clearwater when property
becomes contiguous and agreeing to pay a cash sum to meet the parkland

to pay the balance of money due for such parkland dedication;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED
BY AND BETWEEN THE PARTIES, AS FOLLOWS:
1. That subparagraph (b) of Paragraph 2 of that certain Agreement

"(b) to remit to the City the total sum of $22,500, such
sum representing ten (10) percent of the purchase price J
of the subject property in satisfaction of City parkland
dedication requirements. The $22, SOO sum shall be paid'
in increments of $500 per each of the forty-five building ....
lots representing the fixed total sum plus interest, such
$500 to be paid at the time the City authorizes sewer and/or
water service to each building lot so long as they remain in
the County or at the time of issuance of building permit if
in the City. Since total payment will not have been made on
all 45 lots by December 31, 1982, the Owner shall pay to the
City the sum of $7, 000 on or before January 1, 1983 (representing
14 lots @ $500 each), and the balance remaining shall be paid
on or before January 1, 1984, together with interest thereon
at 13% per annum on the unpaid balance beginning on January
1, 1983."
