RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED
Dear Mr. Fahari:
In accordance with Section 138.09 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Clearwater, I have reviewed your request for a temporary sidewalk installa~
tion waiver.
Since there are no sidewalks along the east side of Greenwood Avenue in this
area and since the school route is on the west side of Greenwood Avenue and
the waiving of the sidewalk requirement will not create a pedestrian hazard, this
location meets the requirements set forth in Section 138.09. Therefore, I am
pleased to inform you that a temporary waiver of the sidewalk installation require-
ment is granted on the above-referenced property. Should it be determined that a
sidewalk is required at this location in the future, it will be installed by the
assessment process.

Interdepartment Correspondence Sheet
TO: Elizabeth Haeseker, Asst. City Manager
FROM: Keith Crawford, Traffic Engineering Director
COPIES: Andy Onufer, Building Department Director
SUBJECT: Sidewalk Waiver Request - 1359 S. Greenwood Avenue
DATE: February 18, 1987
This property is located on the east side of Greenwood Avenue
between Kingsley Street and South Street. We have reviewed the re-
quest for a sidewalk waiver and found that there are no sidewalks
along the east side of Greenwood Avenue in this area. The absence
of a sidewalk at this property does not create a pedestrian hazard
and existing sidewalk along the west side of Greenwood serves as
the school walk route.
Since the requirements for a waiver are met, it is my recommendation
that it be granted.
