P.E. 8620 Airway Boulevard New Port Richey, F134654 Re: Master Key Storage Galen, At your request I reviewed the pond area located behind Master Key Storage located on US 19 in Clearwater, Florida. The results of the investigation are as follows. Master Key Storage is a series of buildings running in a west to east direction. Paving comes to the entrance of each storage unit. The water runoff is from west to east and flows down the inverted crown in the center of the paved area to a pond area located in the rear (east end) of the site. The reaz pond area is bermed on the north, south and east sides with a chain link fence at the top of the berm. Vegetation within the pond area is primrose willow, Cazolina willow, broom sedge, centella and frog-bit. Brazilian pepper covers most of the top of the berm. No control structure was observed within the berm area to allow for the release of water into the surrounding wetland. The property to the north of the berm appeazs to be a wetland comprised mainly of Brazilian pepper with small amounts of chain fern as understory. To the east of the pond is also a wetland area of mainly Cazolina willow and Brazilian pepper. The southern edge of the pond is in trailers. The pond area is the reaz of the storage facility should be considered a surface water by the Southwest Florida Water Management. It is presently being used as water quantity and water quality storage. If you require any additional information, please contact me.
