AGREEMENT FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC SIGNS
TIllS AGREEMENT made and entered into on the P day O~~!i 2001,
by and between the CITY OF CLEARWATER (100 S. Myrtle Avenue, C earwater, FL 33756-
5520), a municipal corporation of the State of Florida and the HARBOR OAKS
HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION (322 Lotus Path, Clearwater, FL 33756).
WITNESSETH:
The CITY OF CLEARWATER hereby agrees to install decorative traffic signage and poles
within the boundaries of Harbor Oaks as duly platted as well as at the intersections of Jeffords
and Bay Avenue and S. Druid Road. The CITY shall install traffic signage of the PELCO design
and type or it's equivalent as shown on the attached exhibit "A". Which signage poles shall be
purchased by the Harbor Oaks Association and given to the city at which time they shall become
the property of the city.
The subject maintenance services shall include but not be limited to the replacement of the
signage, at the city's cost, and vertical support structures on a proposed ten-year cycle with the
approval and concurrence of the Harbor Oaks Homeowners Association as well as the
replacement of signage and support structures when necessary due to damage.
New sign installations that may become necessary after the initial installation of Pelco post
signage shall be installed as standard installations, however, the Harbor Oaks Homeowners
Association shall have the option of upgrading the new signs to Pelco assemblies by paying the
current cost of said sign and support structure.
All compensation to cover damages or replacement costs at any time shall reflect the current true
costs at the time of purchase.
