Since there are no sidewalks within 200 feet of this property and since this property is not part of a school route and the waiving of the sidewalk requirement will not create a pedestrian hazard, this location meets the requirements set forth in Section 138.09. Therefore, I am pleased to inform you that a temporary waiver of the sidewalk requirement is granted on the above-referenced property. City Manager FROM: Keith Crawford, Traffic Engineering Director COPIES: Andy Onufer, Building Department Director Sidewalk Waiver Request - 2770 Main St. SUBJECT: DATE: September 15, 1987 We have reviewed the subject sidewalk waiver request and found that there are no sidewalks within 200 feet of the property, it is not part of a school walk route, and the absence of a sidewalk does not create a pedestrian hazard. An existing drainage ditch along Main Street would also make installation of a sidewalk impractical. Since the requirements for a sidewalk waiver are met, it is my recommendation that ~.
