WHEREAS the Utility Department of the City of Clearwater..
has been authorized by proper action of the City Commission
to undertake an equipment lease agreement with Noland Credit
Company in and about the expansion and development of.the
use of natural gas for commercial purposes served by the
City of Clearwater; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary from time to time for a prop-
erly authorized signature of the Utility Department of the
City of Clearwater to be affixed to the agreements relating
to the delivery of commercial gas equipment to the City of
Clearwater Utilities Department, which in turn leases the
same to its natural gas customers; and,
WHEREAS, it is found necessary to simplify such paper
work wherever possible and thus enable such limited agree-
ments to be executed without the necessity of all municipal
officers, which would otherwise be required.
NO;a, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COT8TfSSION`
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER FLORIDA IN SESSION DULY
AND REGULARLY ASSUMED, As ToLLOWah:
1. That W. J. King, Sales Manager of the Utility De-
partment of the City of Clearwater, or his successor in
office, is hereby authorized to execute transfer of leases
for commercial gas equipment (Ruud Water Heaters) between
the City of Clearwater and Noland Credit Company of Newport
News, Virginia.
2. This Resolution shall be subject to cancellation or
change without advance notice by the City of Clearwater upon
written notification thereof by the City Manager of the City
of Clearwater,
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be furnished
Noland Credit Company for its files.
