WHEREAS the First National Bank of Clearwater
has agreed to finance gas equipment sold through the
City of Clearwater Utilities Department on a retail sale
basis; and,
WHEREAS, said contracts provide that there is no
recourse against the City of Clearwater; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that one or more individ-
uals in the Utilities Department be authorized to execute
the original contract or application for submission to
the First National Bank in order to facilitate financing
of consumer goods, equipment and applicances;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COM-
MISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN
SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED:
1. That the Sales Manager and the Utilities
Manager be and they are hereby expressly authorized to
-' sign the non-recourse type of consumer contracts, a copy
of which form is attached and made a part of this Resolu-
tion by reference. The signature of only one of the afore-
mentioned individuals is necessary on each contract.
2. A certified co
py of this Resolution shall be
?'fa sent to the First National Bank of Clearwater, Clearwater,
s Florida, for their permanent records.
3. The aforesaid authority herein vested in the
Sales Manager and the Utilitied Manager may be revoked
without notice by the City and additional employe or employes
may be inserted in lieu of the foregoing titles.
