FLS2007-11048FLS2007-11048 609 SPENCER AVE GREENE, JOHN PLANNER OF RECORD : JB ATLAS # 297B ZONING: MDR LAND USE: RU RECEIVED: 11/02/2007 INCOMPLETE: COMPLETE: MAPS : PHOTOS STAFF REPORT: DRC CDB: CLW CoverSheet ~~S aoo l~ -~ 9 0~ ~ ,.... ~~ Dear Ms. I3uszewski, Thank you for meeting with me last week to discuss my shed project at 609/611 Spencer Avenue, Clearwater. By way of explanation, my brother John and I bought the property last September for use by our family. The tenant in 611 moved. in October of last year, and we moved our brother Thom into the unit where he remains. He is a 100% disabled Veteran, and spends much of his time gardening and raising yard plants. In April, we built the shed to store tools, lawn equipment, and Thom's pots and starter plants. We were not aware that we needed a permit to build it since it didn't have a traditional permanent slab or footer. In July we were about to put on the trim when we were cited with an order to stop work. I then prepared plans anal got the permit on July 18-1.9, 07. We were preparing to move it, and cut it down by 19 sq ft. or 2.5 linear feet of length, but this poses unneeded hardships, which don't really make make any sense. I therefore decided. to discuss it with your office to see if there was a way to get a variance. The tenants in 609 moved in September 07, and I began to paint and fix up the unit. On November 20th I will be moving my 85 year old father-in-law, and his wife, into 609. He also gardens as a hobby. I would really like to get this shed project wrapped up soon. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Ifenneth J. Greene ~1?1G11~A~:. ~l;~l~ .`~'' ~~ 100 I'd.ANNIN~ ~~P~Rpfl/lEfV~ Oll'!
