We propose to furnish you with engineering services covering the I
replacement of the existing absorption refrigeration plant, including
necessary structural design and architectural design to provide a com-
plete and proper operating refrigeration plant. Any modification to
the air side system, controls and accessories are not part of this
contract. We will however, bring to your attention any apparent defi-
ciencies that become apparent during the execution of this contract.

Dear Mr. Henderson:
As per your request, which is totally acceptable to my office, we would
propose to employ the services of Mr. Argie McElmurry to furnish any
architectural services required. We would also propose to employ Olsen,
Purdum and White, Inc. to provide necessary structural analysis and
design as required.
We propose to provide your office with preliminary drawings along with cost
estimates updating Mr. Healy's report which was prepared in the latter
part of 1973 and presented to your office January 18, 1974.
We will provide drawings and specifications in numbers suitable for com-
petitive bidding covering the work necessary to accomplish the above.
We will coordinate this design work with your staff people, assist you
in obtaining quotations, and advise on letting a contract.
During construction we will provide construction review services as re-
quired so we can assure you that the work is installed according to the
contract documents and advise you on any apparent short comings in the
work and make sure that they are corrected. We will approve partial pay-
ments to the Contractor and satisfy ourselves that the completed system
is working properly.
It is agreed that you will provide all legal work as may be required and
will provide information as to building operations in order to properly
coordinate the work. Work will be scheduled in specific areas to have
minimum disturbance to normal operations.

For all of the above our fee will be a maximum of EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS
( $8,000.00). We will keep hourly records and if your hourly time is
less than the maximum fee, our fee will be based only on the hours spent.
Hourly fees will be billed to your office monthly and will be based on
the following rates:

$35.00 per hour
$25.00 per hour
$15.00 per hour
Engineers
Draftsmen
We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to work with you on this project
and will design a system that will provide economical service for years
to come.
