AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF STATE ROAD 580, APPROXIMATELY 500
FEET WEST OF COUNTRYSIDE BOULEVARD, CONSISTING OF
LOT 1, KERWIN SUBDIVISION AND LOT 2, STATE ROAD NO.
580 PROFESSIONAL OFFICE CENTRE, WHOSE POST OFFICE
ADDRESS IS 2655 STATE ROAD 580, TOGETHER WITH THE
ABUTTING RIGHT-OF-WAY OF STATE ROAD 580, AND 2665
STATE ROAD 580, TOGETHER WITH THE ABUTTING RIGHT-
OF-WAY OF STATE ROAD 580, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF THE CITY, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF
THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the owner of the real property described herein and depicted on the map
attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the property into the
City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has complied with all applicable
requirements of Florida law in connection with this ordinance; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following-described property is hereby annexed into the City of Clearwater
and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly:

Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be consistent
with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Council hereby accepts the dedication
of all easements, parks, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public, which have heretofore
been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed property. The City Engineer, the City Clerk
and the Planning Director are directed to include and show the property described herein upon the
official maps and records of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The City Clerk
shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with the Clerk of the
Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after
adoption, and shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of State within 30 days after
adoption.
