AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF NURSERY ROAD APPROXIMATELY 250 FEET
EAST OF WINCHESTER ROAD, CONSISTING OF A PORTION
OF LOT 19 IN SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 16
EAST, PINELLAS GROVES, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS
IS 2327 NURSERY ROAD, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE
CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.

WHEREAS, the owner of the real property described herein and depicted on the map
attached hereto as Exhibit A has petitioned the City of Clearwater to annex the property into the
City pursuant to Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and the City has complied with all applicable
requirements of Florida law in connection with this ordinance; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following-described property is hereby annexed into the City of Clearwater
and the boundary lines of the City are redefined accordingly:

Section 2. The provisions of this ordinance are found and determined to be consistent
with the City of Clearwater Comprehensive Plan. The City Council hereby accepts the dedication
of all easements, parks, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public, which have heretofore
been made by plat, deed or user within the annexed property. The City Engineer, the City Clerk
and the Planning Director are directed to include and show the property described herein upon the
official maps and records of the City.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption. The City Clerk
shall file certified copies of this ordinance, including the map attached hereto, with the Clerk of the
Circuit Court and with the County Administrator of Pinellas County, Florida, within 7 days after
adoption, and shall file a certified copy with the Florida Department of State within 30 days after
adoption.

From the Northeast comer of the Southeast % of the Southwest % of Section 19,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida, thence N.89°09'04"W.,
along the centerline of right-of-way of Nursery Road as it now exists (being also the
North line of the Southwest '/a of Section 19) a distance of 805.09 feet; thence
S.00029'45"W., 33.00 feet to the Southerly right-of-way line thereof for a Point of
Beginning (P.O.B); thence continue S.00°29'45"W., along the Westerly line of Excaliber
Drive as shown on the plat of PREMIER PLACE, as recorded in Plat Book 93, Pages
51 and 52, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, a distance of 185.01 feet; thence
N.89005'29"W., 105.00 feet along the Northerly line of Lot 9 of PREMIER PLACE, to
the Northwest corner thereof and the Westerly line of aforesaid Lot 19; thence
N-0003 1'25"E., 185.00 feet (184.90 feet calculated) to the Southerly right-of-way line of
Nursery Road; thence along said Southerly right-of-way line, S.89°09'04"E., a distance
of 105.00 feet (104.91 feet calculated) to the Point of Beginning.
