Dear Mr. Krentzman:
Our attorney in Clearwater, Vir. E. B. Casler, Jr.,
has forwarded to me a copy of your letter of January 22 re-
questing an extension on the present agreement that we have
with the City of Clearwater until June 30, 1958. This ex-
tension is required so that certain problems can be worked
out with the state Road Department and the filling operations
completed in accordance with the agreement.
It is important that the City Engineer improve upon
the type of material being used. in the filling operations on
the property. Some of the material, particularly along the
westerly half of the property being turned over to this
Company, is unsuitable on which to construct a revenue produc-
ing industry.
With the understanding that there will be improvements
in this filling material, it will be satisfactory to extend the
provisions of the present agreement which we have "lith the City
of Clearwater until June 30, 1958, and you may mark your records
accordingly.
