6271-98ORDINANCE NO. 6271-98 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF BOYLAN AVENUE AND LAKEVIEW ROAD, CONSISTING OF LOTS 62 THROUGH 64, BLOCK 7, CLEVELAND GROVE, AND LOTS 1 THROUGH 3, BOYLAN SUBDIVISION, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1261 THROUGH 1283 LAKEVIEW ROAD, FROM SINGLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL "EIGHT' (RS-8) AND MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL "EIGHT" (RM-8) TO LIMITED OFFICE (OL); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows: Property Lots 62 through 64, Block 7, Cleveland Grove, according to the map or plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 7, of the public records of Pinellas County, Florida; and Lots 1 through 3, Boylan Subdivision, according to the map or plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 30, Page 47, of the public records of Pinellas County, Florida. Zoninq District From: Single-Family Residential "Eight" (RS-8) Multiple-Family Residential "Eight" (RM-8) To: Limited Office (OL) (Z 98-07) Section 2. The Central Permitting Director is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to the approval of the land use designation set forth in Ordinance 6270-98 by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, and subject to a determination by the State of Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation, Act, pursuant to §163.3189, Florida Statutes.
