6269-98ORDINANCE NO. 6269-98 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF PIERCE STREET AND HILLCREST AVENUE, CONSISTING OF METES AND BOUNDS 14-01, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1384 PIERCE STREET, FROM MULTIPLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL "TWELVE" (RM-12) TO GENERAL OFFICE (OG); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows: Pro ert The West 90 feet of the East 120 feet of the North 105 feet of the Northeast % of the Southeast % of the Northeast'/ of Section 15, Township 29 South, ? The Central Permitting Director is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to the approval of the land use designation set forth in Ordinance 6268-98 by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, and subject to a determination by the State of Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant to §163.3189, Florida Statutes.
