AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 180 FEET
NORTH OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF WOODLAWN
STREET AND GREENWOOD AVENUE, CONSISTING OF
METES AND BOUNDS 32-16 AND THE NORTH 108.71 FEET OF
METES AND BOUNDS 32-14, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS
IS 1484 SOUTH GREENWOOD AVENUE (PROPOSED), FROM
MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL "EIGHT' (RM-8) TO
MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL "TWELVE" (RM-12);
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this ordinance is
found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and Is consistent with the City's Comprehensive
Plan; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned, and
the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows:
Property Zoning District
See Exhibit A attached. From: Multiple-Family Residential "Eight" (RM-8)
(Z98-05)
To: Multiple-Family Residential "Twelve (RM-12)
Section 2. The Central Permitting Director is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City
in accordance with the foregoing amendment.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, subject to the
approval of the land use designation set forth in Ordinance 6266-98 by the Pinellas County Board
of County Commissioners, and subject to a determination by the State of Florida, as appropriate,
of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local Government Comprehensive
Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant to §163.3189, Florida Statutes.
