AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY REZONING
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST
CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF VINE AVENUE AND
SEMINOLE STREET AND SOUTH OF NICHOLSON STREET,
CONSISTING OF LOTS 1 THROUGH 6, BLOCK 4, PINE CREST
SUBDIVISION, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 800-810
VINE AVENUE, FROM MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
"EIGHT" (RM-8) TO INFILL COMMERCIAL (CI); PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the amendment to the zoning atlas of the City as set forth in this ordinance is
found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and is consistent with the City's Comprehensive
Plan; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida, is hereby rezoned, and
the zoning atlas of the City is amended as follows:

Lots I through 6, Block 4, together with that
portion of the vacated alley adjoining the West
boundary of Lots 1 through 6, Block 4, Pine
Crest Subdivision, according to the plat thereof
as recorded In Plat Book 1, Page 66, of the public
records of Pinellas County, Florida. (LUP 98-01)

From: Multiple-Family Residential "Eight" (RM-8)
To: lnfill Commercial (CI)
Section 2. The Central Permitting Director is directed to revise the zoning atlas of the City
in accordance with the foregoing amendment.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption subject to the
approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners and
subject to a determination by the state land planning agency or the Administrative Commission of
the State of Florida, as appropriate, of compliance with the applicable requirements of the Local
Government Comprehensive Planning and Land Development Regulation Act, pursuant to §
163.3189, Florida Statutes. The Director of Central Permitting is authorized to transmit to the
Pinellas County Planning Council an application to amend the Countywide Plan in order to
achieve consistency with the Future Land Use Plan Element of the City's Comprehensive Plan as
amended by this ordinance.
