AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE
DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE INTERSECTION OF REGAL STREET AND
SUNNY PARK DRIVE, APPROXIMATELY 880 FEET NORTH OF
BELLEAIR ROAD AND 1,280 FEET WEST OF HIGHLAND AVENUE,
TOGETHER WITH THE ABUTTING RIGHT-OF-WAY OF SUNNY PARK
DRIVE, CONSISTING OF LOT 1, SOLAR CREST SUBDIVISION,
WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1400 REGAL ROAD, FROM
UNCLASSIFIED TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the amendment to the future land use plan element of the
comprehensive plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be
reasonable, proper and appropriate, and in compliance with Florida taw; now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of
the City of Clearwater is amended by changing the land use category for the
hereinafter described property as follows:
Property
Lot 1, Solar Crest Subdivision,
according to the map.or plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 36, Page 72,
of the public records of Pinellas County,
Florida, together with the abutting ri ht-
of-way of Sunny Park Drive. (LUP93-10j

From: Unclassified
To: Low Density Residential
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is
consistent with the City's comprehensive plan.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption,
contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 5379-93 and subject
to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of
County Commissioners. The Director)-of Planning and Development is authorized to
transmit to the Pinellas County Planning Council an application to amend the
Countywide Plan in order to achieve consistency with the Future Land Use Plan
Element of the City's Comprehensive Plan as amended by this ordinance.
