AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ATLAS OF THE CITY BY ZONING CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF BAYVIEW
AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 1,050 FEET SOUTH OF GULF TO BAY
BOULEVARD, TOGETHER WITH THE ABUTTING RIGHT-OF-WAY OF
BAYVIEW AVENUE, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 716 BAYVIEW
AVENUE, AS DESCRIBED MORE PARTICULARLY HEREIN, UPON
ANNEXATION INTO THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, AS SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL 6 DISTRICT (RS-6); PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the assignment of a zoning district classification as set forth
in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and in
compliance with Florida law; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property located in Pinellas County,
Florida, is hereby zoned as indicated upon annexation into the City of
Clearwater, and the zoning atlas of the City is amended, as follows:
Property Zoning District
See Exhibit A attached. RS-6 - Single Family 6 Residential
(A93-Oh)
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is
consistent with the City's comprehensive plan.
Section 3. The Planning and Development Director is directed to revise the
zoning atlas of the City in accordance with the foregoing amendment.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption,
contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 5371-93, and subject
to approval of the land use category set forth in ordinance No. 5372-93, by the
Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners.

Description to the Northeast corner of the Townsend Tract; from the
Northwest corner of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 16, Township 29 S,
Range 16 E, run thence S 0°37'031' W, 719.40 feet; thence N 68°04'45"
E, 312.54 feet to the West right-of-way of Bayview Avenue; thence S
21006'00" E, 393.75 feet to the Northeast corner of the Townsend
Tract.
Description of a tract of land in Government Lot 1 in the Southwest
1/4 of Section 16, Township 29 South, Range 16 East, further
described as follows: Begin at the Northeast corner of the Townsend
Tract and run Southeasterly along the West right-of-way of Bayview
Avenue, 91.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continue
Southeasterly along the West right-of-way of Bayview Avenue, 100.72
feet; thence through an angle of 90° to the left, 88.08 feet to a
point on the seawall; thence Northwesterly along said seawall line,
101.62 feet to a point which lies Westerly, 101.58 feet from the
POINT OF BEGINNING; thence Easterly, 101.58 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING, together with the abutting right-of-way of Bayview
Avenue.
