5372-93 r ORDINANCE N0. 5372-93 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF BAYVIEW AVENUE, APPROXIMATELY 1,050 FEET SOUTH OF GULF TO BAY BOULEVARD, TOGETHER WITH THE ABUTTING RIGHT-OF-WAY OF BAYVIEW AVENUE, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 716 BAYVIEW AVENUE, FROM UNCLASSIFIED TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the amendment to the future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be reasonable, proper and appropriate, and in compliance with Florida law; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of the City of Clearwater is amended by changing the land use category for the hereinafter described property as follows: Property Land Use Category See Exhibit A attached. (LUP93-07) From: Unclassified To: Low Density Residential Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is consistent with the City's comprehensive plan. Section 33. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption, contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 5371-93 and subject to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners. The Director of Planning and Development is authorized to transmit to the Pinellas County Planning Council an application to amend the Countywide Plan in order to achieve consistency with the Future Land Use Plan Element of the City's Comprehensive Plan as amended by this ordinance.
