AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE
DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY 1,150 FEET WEST OF HERCULES AVENUE AND 320
FEET SOUTH OF SHERWOOD STREET, CONSISTING OF PART OF
TRACT A, HERCULES INDUSTRIAL PARK, WHOSE POST OFFICE
ADDRESS IS 1351 ARCTURUS AVENUE, FROM UNCLASSIFIED TO
INDUSTRIAL; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the amendment to the future land use plan element of the
comprehensive plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be
reasonable, proper and appropriate, and in compliance with Florida law; now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of
the City of Clearwater is amended by changing the land use category for the
hereinafter described property as follows:

See Exhibit A attached hereto. From: Unclassified
(LUP 92-26)
To, Industrial
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is
consistent with the city's comprehensive plan.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption,
contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 5339-93.

Part of Tract A, Hercules Industrial Park, according to the map or
plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 53, Page 57, of the public
records of Pinellas County, Florida, more particularly described as
follows:
Commence at the southwest corner of Tract A of said Hercules
Industrial Park; thence N 00021110" E (plat bearing and basis of
bearings for this description) 191.00 feet for a POINT of BEGINNING;
thence continue N 00021110" E, along the west boundary of said Tract
A, being also the east right-of-way line of Arcturas Avenue, 220.82
feet; thence S 89020'48" E (plat bearing is S 89020105" E) along the
westerly projection of the north boundary of Lots 21 through 30 of
said Hercules Industrial Park, 286.00 feet; thence S 00021110" W,
parallel to the west boundary of said Tract A, 189.88 feet; thence
