Dear Sir:
Paragraph 1 of the Lease Agreement dated February 26, 1966
between the City of Clearwater ("Lessor") and The Philadelphia
National League Club, Inc. ("Lessee"), as amended November 3,
1966, reads as follows:
"1. The Lessor does grant, demise and lease
to the Lessee the complete and exclusive con-
trol, use and enjoyment of the premises together
with the Improvements to be constructed thereon
or installed therein for the term of ten (10)
years commencing March 1, 1967 and terminating on
February 28, 1977; provided, however, that Lessee
is hereby granted the option to extend this
agreement for a period of ten (10) additional
years from February 28, 1977, on the same terms
and conditions by giving Lessor written notice of
such extension on or before April 30, 1976."
Pursuant to paragraph 1 of said Lease, notice is hereby given to
Lessor by Lessee that Lessee is hereby exercising the aforesaid
option to extend said Lease for a period of ten (10) additional
years from February 28, 1977 on the same terms and conditions.

As a result thereof, the term of said Lease, as hereby extended,
shall terminate on February 28, 1987.
By reason of such extension, the Sublease Agreement between Club
and City also dated September 26, 1966, as amended November 3,
1966, is automatically extended for a period of ten (10) additional
years from February 28, 1977 on the same terms and conditions
except that the annual rental during the extension period shall be
One Dollar ($1.00) per year, as provided in paragraph 1 of said
Sublease.
Pursuant to paragraph 19 of said Lease, this notice is being sent
by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the Lessor at City
Hall, Clearwater, Florida. A copy of this notice is also being
sent to the City Manager.
Lessee hereby designates Veterans Stadium, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
19101 as the address to which all future notices should be sent
pursuant to paragraph 19 of said Lease.
