WHEREAS, it has been requested by Robert E. and Maureen Girard, owners of certain real property located in the City of Clearwater, that the City vacate the utility easement described herein; and WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that said easement is not necessary for municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest of the City and the general public that the same be vacated; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following: The West 6.5 feet of the Easterly 10-foot utility easement lying in Lot 26, College Hill Park Unit I Subdivision, according to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 67, Page 19, of the public records of Pinellas County, Florida, is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of Clearwater quitclaims and releases all of its right, title and interest thereto. Section 2. The City Clerk shall record this ordinance in the public records of Pinellas County, Florida, following adoption. Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
