ORDINANCE NO. 5242-92
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE
DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED SOUTH OF
SUNSET POINT ROAD AND EAST OF HIGHLAND AVENUE.,
CONSISTING OF PARTS OF LOTS 23 AND 24, SUDAN'S
SUBDIVISION, WHOSE POST OFFICE ADDRESS IS 1843 WEST
DRIVE, FROM UNCLASSIFIED TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the amendment to the future land use plan element of the
comprehensive plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be
reasonable, proper and appropriate, and in compliance with Florida law; now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of
the City of Clearwater is amended by changing the land use category for the
hereinafter described property as follows:
Property
The North 7 feet of Lot 23 and the
South 53 feet of Lot 24, Suban's
Subdivision, according to the map or
plat thereof as recorded in Plat Boole
40, Page 32, of the public records of
Pinellas County, Florida. (LUP 91-01)

From: Unclassified
To: Low Density Residential
' Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is
consistent with the City's comprehensive plan.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption,
contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 5241-92, and subject
to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of
County Commissioners.
