AMENDMENT TO SUBLEASE AGREEMENT
AMENDMENT made as of the 3/4 day of January, 1968, to
Sublease Agreement dated as of September 26, 1966, as amended on
November 3, 1966, by and between THE PHILADELPHIA NATIONAL LEAGUE
CLUB, INC., a Pennsylvania corporation, hereinafter referred to as the
'IClub", and THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, a municipal corporation
existing by and under the authority of the laws of the State of Florida,
hereinafter referred to as the "City";
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, Club and City have entered into Sublease Agreement
relating to a certain tract of land situated in the City of Clearwater and
more particularly described therein; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend Sublease Agreement and
Amendment to Sublease Agreement to increase the annual rental payable
by City during the original term of Sublease Agreement because of certain
improvements to the sprinkler system which are now under construction;
IT IS, THEREFORE, AGREED THA T FOR AND IN
CONSIDERA TION OF THE MUTUAL PERFORMANCE
OF THE CONDITIONS CONTAINED HEREIN:
1. Paragraph 2 of Sublease Agreement is hereby amended to read
in full as follows:
lIThe annual rental to be paid Club by City for the use of
the premises shall be $35,000 per year in 1967; $35,833.33
per year in 1968 and 1969; $25,833.33 in 1970; and $20,833.33
annually thereafter until and including 1976. City covenants and
agrees to pay the annual rental herein specified in one lump sum
on April 30 of each year during the original term of this agree-
ment commencing on April 30, 1967, and continuing annually
thereafter until and including April 30, 1976."
2. Except as amended hereby, all of the terms, covenants, conditions

and provisions of Sublease Agreement and Amendment to Sublease Agreement
are hereby ratified and confirmed.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have set their hands
and seals the day and year first set out above.
