ORDINANCE NO. 5189-92
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
RELATING TO THE LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE; AMENDING SECTIONS
135.011, 135.017, 135.023, 135.029, 135.035, 135.036, i
135.037, 135.043, 135.044 AND 135.045, CODE OF '
ORDINANCES, TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT FOR
STRUCTURES IN ALL SINGLE FAMILY ZONING DISTRICTS AND THE
MULTIPLE FAMILY "EIGHT" AND "TWELVE" ZONING DISTRICTS;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Subsection (6) of Section 135.011, Code of Ordinances, is
amended to read:
Sec. 135.011. Dimensional and numerical development requirements.
The following dimensional and numerical requirements shall apply to all
development within Single-Family Residential "Two" Districts:

(6) Maximum height: Thirty_(30) Twenty f4ye (25) feet; except that such
height limitation shall, where applicable, be increased or reduced in accord with
the height bonus provisions, airport restrictions, and other regulations

contained in eha-p-ter 136r section 136.004.
Section 2. Subsection (6) of Section 135.017, Code of Ordinances, is
amended to read:
Sec. 135.017. Dimensional and numerical development requirements.
' The following dimensional and numerical requirements shall apply to all
development within Single-Family Residential "Four" Districts:
(6) Maximum height: Thirty (30) wen five (26) feet; except that such
height limitation shall, where applicable, be increased or reduced in accord with
the height bonus provisions, airport restrictions, and other regulations
contained in ehapter , section 136.004.

Section 3. Subsection (6) of Section 135.023, Code of Ordinances, is
amended to read:
Sec. 135.023. Dimensional and numerical development requirements.
The following dimensional and numerical requirements shall apply to all
development within Single-Family Residential "Six" Districts:
(6) Maximum height: Thirty (30)_ Twenty f We (25) feet; except that such
height limitation shall, where applicable, be increased or reduced in accord with
the height bonus provisions, airport restrictions, and other regulations
contained in ehapter , section 136.004.
Section 4. Subsection (6) of Section 135.029, Code of Ordinances, is
amended to read:
Sec. 135.029. Dimensional and numerical development requirements.
The following dimensional and numerical requirements shall apply to a)]
development within Single-Family Residential "Eight" Districts:
(6) Maximum height: Thirty 30 25) feet; except that such
height limitation shall, where applicable, be increased or reduced in accord with
the height bonus provisions, airport restrictions, and other regulations

Section 5. Subsection (6) of Section 135.035, Code of Ordinances, is
amended to read:
Sec. 135.035. Dimensional and numerical development requirements for two-
family dwellings.

The following dimensional and numerical requirements shall apply to two-
family dwelling development within Multiple-Family Residential "Eight" Districts:
(6) Maximum height: Thirty (30) -Twenty fly(25) feet; except that such
height limitation shall, where applicable, be increased or reduced in accord with
the height bonus provisions, airport restrictions, and other regulations
contained in ?hapter !3& section 136.004.
Section 6. Subsection (6) of Section 135.036, Code of Ordinances, is
amended to read:
Sec. 135.036. Dimensional and numerical development requirements for
three-family dwellings.
The following dimensional and numerical requirements shall apply to three-
family dwelling development within Multiple-Family Residential "Eight" Districts:
(6) Maximum height: Thirrty-, 30 -Twenty f4ye (25) feet; except that such
height limitation shall, where applicable, be increased or reduced in accord with
the height bonus provisions, airport restrictions, and other regulations
contained in ehapteF 1367 section 136.004.
Section 7. Subsection (5) of Section 135.037, Code of Ordinances, is
amended to read:
Sec. 135.037. Dimensional and numerical development requirements.
The following dimensional and numerical requirements shall apply to
development within Multiple-Family Residential "Eight" Districts not expressly
regulated elsewhere:

amended to read:

development within Multiple-Family Residential "Twelve" Districts not expressly
regulated elsewhere:

Section 11. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
