ORDINANCE NO. 5165-92
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AMENDING, THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN ELEMENT OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN OF THE CITY, TO CHANGE THE LAND USE
DESIGNATION FOR CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF
STATE ROAD 60, EAST OF ELIZABETH AVENUE, WHOSE POST
OFFICE ADDRESS IS 205 ELIZABETH AVENUE, FROM
UNCLASSIFIED TO MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the amendment to the future land use plan element of the
comprehensive plan of the City as set forth in this ordinance is found to be
reasonable, proper and appropriate, and in compliance with Florida law; now,
therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The future land use plan element of the comprehensive plan of
the City of Clearwater is amended by changing the land use category for the
hereinafter described property as follows:
Property
The North 70 feet of the South 820
feet of the East 150 feet of the
West 980 feet of the Southwest 1/4
of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 17,
Township 29 South, Range 16 East,
Pinellas County, Florida. (LUP 91-14)
Land Use Category
From: Unclassified
To: Medium Density Residential
Section 2. The City Commission does hereby certify that this ordinance is
consistent with the City's comprehensive plan.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption,
contingent upon and subject to the adoption of Ordinance No. 5164-92, and subject
to the approval of the land use designation by the Pinellas County Board of
County Commissioners.
