also received a sworn petition from U. S. Home Corporation requesting the
City to annex a certain parcel of real estate hereinafter described, owned-by
it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and

WHEREAS, on lylarch 18, 1978, the City Commission of the City of i •?7
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the Y,
determination and establishment of fire district classifications for said •
real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE.CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Chapter 171. 044,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary limes of said City so as
to include the following described parcels of real property in Pinellas
County, Florida, and establishes fire district classifications therefor;
The South 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 32, Township 28
South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida.
The above described property is hereby designated Fire
District No. 1.
AND
That part of the SE 1/4 of the NW Section Quarter lying
between the North/South Section Centerline and the
water of the lake.
The above described property is hereby designated Fire
District No. 1.
AND
North Z feet of Lot IS and the South 59, 5 feet: of Lot 19,
Suban's Subdivision, according to the map or plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 40, -page 32 of the Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida.
The above described property is hereby; designated Fire ' .

and being more particularly described as follows; Commence

The above described property is hereby designated Fire
District No. 1.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law, accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and. the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official maps
and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and the fire
district classifications therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance and notice of the proposed enactment of
same has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Chapter 166. 041, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 171. 044,
Florida Statutes.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and
a copy thereof being filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Pinellas County, Florida. In accordance with Chapter 171. 091, and Chapter
171. 044, Florida Statutes, a certified copy shall be filed with the Department
of State of the State of Florida.

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Anthony L. Shoemaker, City Manager of the
City of Clearwater, requesting the City to annex certain parcel of real estate
described hereinafter, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on February 2, 1978,
voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials
to set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishing of
fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
received a sworn petition from Scott M. Lamb and Kathleen A. Lamb, his wife,
requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter,
owned by them, into the corporate limits of the City of Cleaiw ater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
also received a sworn petition from U. S.• Home Corporation requesting the

WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration-of said
requests for annexation, at a regular meeting held on April 6, 1978, voted
unanimously to accept said requests and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishing of fire
district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcels
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, on May 18, 1978, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of fire district classifications for said
real -property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE,CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Chapter 171. 044,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as
to include the following described parcels of real property in Pinellas
County, Florida, and establishes fire district classifications therefor:
The South 1 /4 of the NE 1 /4 of Section 32, Township 28
South, Range 16 East, Pinellas County, Florida.
The above described property is hereby designated Fire
District No. 1.
AND
That part of the SE 1/4 of the NW Section Quarter lying
between the North/South Section Centerline and the
water of the lake.
The above described property is hereby designated Fire
District No. 1.
AND
North 2 feet of Lot 18 and the South 59.3 feet of Lot 19,
Suban's Subdivision, according to the map or plat thereof
as recorded in Plat Book 40, page 32 of the Public Records
