HEREOF; PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION
OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE
OF PROPOSED ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, on December 15, 1977, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on certain
proposed changes to the zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, certain of the proposed changes and amexidments to the
zoning atlas were approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of
all evidence presented at the said public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property in Clearwater, Florida,
is hereby classified and zoned as hereinafter indicated, and "The Zoning Atlas
of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 197811, as amended, is amended, to
indicate that fact as hereinafter set out:
Zoned as RS-60 - Single Family Residential District
Commencing at the SW corner of the East 1/2 of the SW 1 /4
of the NE 1/4 of Section 1, Township 29 South, Range 15 East,
Pinellas County, Florida; thence N 00° 24116" W, along the
West line of said East 1/4, 50.00 feet to a point on the northerly
right-of-way line of Sunset Point Road (S. R. S-588) said point
also being the SW corner of Woodlake I, a condominium as
recorded in Condominium Book 19, pages 38 and 39, of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida; thence along
said right-of-way line and along the southerly boundary of
said Woodlake 1, S 89*06154" E, 600.00 feet; thence leaving
southerly boundary of said Woodlake I and continuing along
said right-of-way line S 89°0615411 E, 408.22 feet to the "True
Point of Beginning"; thence leaving said right-of-way line,
N 00*31106S, W, 619.58 feet, thence N 89°2111311 W, 269.44 feet
to a point on the easterly boundary of said Woodlake I; thence
along boundary of said Woodlake I, N 89 °2111311 W, 66. 16 feet;
thence N 00°29113" W, 57. 28 feet; thence leaving boundary of
said Woodlake I, continue N 00°29113" W, 577.94 feet to a point
on the southerly right-of-way of Montclair Road; thence

mentioned northerly right-of-way of Sunset Point Road
(S. R. S-588); thence along said northerly right-of-way line,
N 89°0615411 W, 1007.92 feet to the "True Point of Beginning".
Section Z. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
}
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this ordinance be declared
by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect
the validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any part thereof other than the
part declared to be invalid.
Section 4. Any person, or persons, firm or corporation or association
of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the terms or
provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not exceeding
the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500. 00), or imprisonment in Jail or not
exceeding sixty (60) daysor by both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion
of the Judge. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense.
Section 5. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Chapter 166.041, Florida Statutes.
Section 6. The Planning Director is directed to include and set out
and show upon the official zoning atlas of the City of Clearwater the foregoing
amendments as hereinabove set out.
Section 7. The provisions of this ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
